Poster Sessions
Poster sessions: Chairs: Dr. Joseph Mitola III, The MITRE
Corporation; and Dr. Michael Strategy: The MILCOM Unclassified Program committee
decided to experiment with long format poster sessions. Poster sessions
will be conducted in European style, in which they are recognized by
the Chair as papers that are of the quality of full session papers, but
seemed to be particularly appropriate for interactive discussion with
authors. The General Chair and Unclassified Program Chair encourage
attendees to visit the posters during the breaks, and when 'session
hopping' to include the long posters in your itinerary. This is an
experiment for MILCOM, and we will rely on your feedback to determine
whether/ how to structure such sessions in the future. Format: The papers will be presented by the authors on
a poster board, approximately 1 x 1.5 meters (3.5 ft by 4 ft) on an
easel in one of the spacious lobbies near several conference rooms.
This is not in the main center of activity where discussions would be
impossible, but the location still allows ready access by all
attendees. In addition, the authors of the poster sessions have common
interests and will have the chance to discuss their papers with each
other. |
