Instructions for preparing and

Abstracts (Abstracts were due
14 Feb 03)
All abstracts and titles must be
unclassified. All abstracts must be submitted electronically
through the
Web Abstract Management System (WAMS). WAMS
will assign a Paper Tracking Number to each abstract.
Abstracts should be concise (less than one page) and must
provide enough information for the abstract to be assigned to
a specific session.
Draft Papers (Draft Papers were due
1 Apr 03)
Draft papers will undergo a peer review
process as part of the acceptance process. Please be
aware that if a paper is accepted, at least one of the authors
must register and attend both the Conference and the
Classified Program.
The preferred format for Draft Papers is
a single-column, double-spaced format. Please include your
Paper Tracking Number on your Draft Paper.
Send classified papers as hardcopy to the
address
provided below. If a paper is unclassified, it may be
submitted electronically via the
WAMS
website. Unclassified papers can also be submitted as
hardcopy.
Final Papers (Final Papers due
30 Jun 03)
Authors who have been notified that their
paper is accepted should follow the format for final papers
specified in the Classified Program Author’s Kit, which should
be available by February 28 (please check back):
Author's Kit for
the Classified Program

For classified papers, a final
camera-ready hardcopy of the paper must be submitted to the
Classified Material address below.
Unclassified papers in the Classified Program may be submitted
electronically via the web site, using WAMS. Electronic
versions must conform to the requirements for electronic files.
Examples are available in the Author's
Kit to assist you in meeting these formatting requirements. The
Author's Kit for the Classified Program contains several forms
that are required at the time of Final Paper submittal. These
forms must be mailed with the final paper submittal. Papers
for which any required form is missing will be excluded from
the final program.
Presentations
Presenters are encouraged to include only
unclassified material in their printed presentation materials
for the Classified Program. If required, the accompanying
discussion can be classified. If the presentation is
unclassified, the presenter should bring an electronic
version (either PowerPoint or Adobe Acrobat.pdf) to the
conference. A Windows 2000 machine will be available to upload
files from disk, zip disk, or CD. An overhead projector will
also be available and presenters are encouraged to bring a
back-up copy of their presentation on transparencies. If
the presentation contains classified material, electronic
versions of the presentation will not be accommodated. The
presenter must mail a set of transparencies to the address
below by 13 Sept 03.
