United Airlines is offering special meeting fares for all attendees who use the Special Meeting Desk to book their reservations. Book early and take advantage of the promotional fares that give you the greatest savings. Earn a 5% discount off the lowest applicable fee, including First Class, or 10% off the mid-week coach fare. Freeway Access

  • Direct access to Monterey is provided from San Jose and San Francisco via Highway 156 off State Route 101. Access from Los Angeles is achieved via State Route 101 and highway 68.

Ground Transportation

  • Transportation by bus from San Francisco International Airport to Monterey is available via Monterey/Salinas Airbus. Contact them by phone at 1 831 373-7777 or on the Web at www.montereyairbus.com.  Buses leave every two hours from 7 am to 11:15 pm (plus an additional bus at noon). The trip takes 2.5 hours and appx. costs $30 one way. Other service is also available. Driving

Conference participants may wish to arrive by private car, taking advantage of the beautiful 2.5 hour drive down the coast from San Francisco or the dramatic ride north from Los Angeles along the world famous Big Sur coastline.

The City of Monterey owns and operates four parking garages that are available for public use. There are 900 parking spaces available in the City of Monterey's parking structure, one block from the Conference Center.

Cannery Row Garage - Located on Foam Street between Hoffman and Prescott Streets. Best parking for Cannery Row, the Aquarium and the Recreation Trail. Hourly parking with an attendant, $0.75 per half-hour or fraction thereof, $12 maximum per day, Visa and MasterCard accepted.

East Custom House Garage - Located on Washington Street between Franklin Street and Del Monte Avenue. Good parking for Fisherman's Wharf and the Marina. Best parking for Downtown. Gate operated entrances, $5 flat entry fee, accepts coin, bills and Visa and MasterCard credit cards.

West Custom House Garage - Located on Tyler Street between Franklin Street and Del Monte Avenue. Good parking for Fisherman's Wharf and the Waterfront. Best parking for Downtown. Hourly parking with an attendant. First hour free, $0.50 per half-hour or fraction thereof, $8 maximum per day, Visa and MasterCard accepted.

Calle Principal Garage - Located on Calle Principal between Franklin and Jefferson Streets. Best parking for Colton Hall Museum, Monterey Peninsula Museum of Art, Downtown and City Hall. Metered parking, $0.50 per hour.
