This paper will demonstrate how to dramatically improve the effectiveness and efficiency of intelligence analysts using model-based intelligence. The paper develops an economic model of analysis work and uses the economic model to identify two key problems: the lack of effective collaboration and the inability to use prior work to gain productivity enhancement. The paper will illustrate the design of an intelligence model based on the contiguous connection model and show how that model can be used to solve the two key problems.
