Wireless Security Aspects
Wang, Sherry
ORGANIZER: Wang, Sherry
This session focuses on some of the challenges of wireless networks in the areas of security threats analysis, intelligent jamming, jamming detection, and mobile target tracking. Relevant papers study issues including intrusions detecting in wireless networks based on physical layer features, intrusion detection in a sparsely connected ad hoc network, insight of DoS attacks and their impacts on MANETs. The session also covers approaching of accurate tracking of a mobile target and a pioneering mechanism of coverage measurement in a sensor network.

Sherry Wang received her Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology. Her research interests include the areas of wireless networking, network security, QoS, and network architectures.
