“Unmanned Aerial Systems: Providing Enhanced C4ISR Capabilities to the Warfighter”
Overview: Unmanned aerial systems (AES) are critical enablers for mission success in today’s battlespace. As a hub for C4ISR information gathering and distribution, this panel explores ‘what’s next’ for the systems that may soon represent 45% of the U.S. Air Force’s future long-range strike force.

“Science & Technology: Communications and Networking for the Current Fight”

MILCOM 2009 Background
In its 28th year, MILCOM 2009 has become the premier military and government communications conference attracting more than 5,000 participants from the military, government, academia and industry, including representatives from more than 30 countries.
General Dynamics C4 Systems and MITRE Corporation are the hosts of MILCOM 2009. Co-sponsors include the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA) International and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Communications Society. The Electronic Systems Center, Hanscom AFB has provided a liaison to advise MILCOM 2009.
