NOVEMBER 1-2, 2010 - Registration: $75

Make plans to join us for this workshop designed to help small businesses learn more about subcontracting, partnering, and teaming opportunities with prime contractors. Plenary session content will be offered on Monday with one-on-one sessions (by appointment) on Tuesday. Plenary topics will include briefs from several large prime contractors followed by a moderated panel discussion focused on providing information on how small businesses should best approach large primes. Small businesses will sign-up after the plenary sessions on Monday on a first come, first served basis for Tuesday’s one-on -one appointments. Small businesses are highly encouraged to schedule time on Monday afternoon to prepare for their one-on-one appointments.

Capacity for one-on-one appointments is limited to the first 40 small businesses to register. Each small business registrant company can sign up for up to two (2) 15-minute prime appointments (based on availability).

WHO SHOULD REGISTER?

Small companies with strong niche capabilities and the ability to articulate the match between these and solutions for the Federal customer. All categories of small business should attend. HUBZone, SDVOSB, and Woman-owned small business are especially encouraged to attend.

Rules of Engagement Panel Discussion:

One-on-One meetings with large primes (by appointment).

WHAT TO EXPECT

Each company registered is limited to up to two (2) 15 minute appointments to meet with prime representatives. Prime participants are generally Small Business Utilization or Supplier Diversity program representatives. The appointments are opportunities for initial contact with the prime company. Prime representatives are generally not decision makers but can be effective advocates within their organizations for small businesses capable of providing solutions to better serve the Government customer.
