Technical Paper Submissions
Classified Technical Papers Are Due:
Draft Paper - June 16, 2008
Camera Ready Final Paper - August 31, 2008
All persons participating in the Classified Technical Program must, at a minimum, possess a current SECRET personnel security clearance and be a U.S. citizen. Non–U.S. originated papers will NOT be accepted for the Classified Technical Program. Do not use WAMS to submit draft or camera ready final papers for the Classified Technical Program.
All draft and camera ready final papers for the Classified Technical Program must be prepared following the instructions and formatting guidelines in the Classified Author’s Kit.
Notes:
It is the author's responsibility to obtain and provide the relevant approvals for public release of both the draft paper and final camera ready paper.
In the case where the information used in preparing the paper/presentation was derived under U.S. Government contract or grant, and the contract/grant requires approval prior to public release, the Government Point of Contact (POC) with authority to authorize public release of the information in the paper must approve the paper's release at MILCOM 2008. It is the author's responsibility to provide the draft paper to the Government POC as early as possible so that timely approval of the paper can be obtained.
The Forms login provides the Forms (Draft Paper Form H and Final Paper Form H) used to record the information on the Government POC for public release. Upon completion and submission of Form H, an email is sent from the MILCOM 2008 web site to the Government POC named on the form, requesting approval via email for public release of the paper. A copy of this email will also be provided to the Author.
Have your Document Control office mail three (3) hard copies or three (3) CDs (Adobe PDF format preferred) of your draft paper via U.S. Registered Mail, U.S. Express Mail or Federal Express. All classified material must be double wrapped. The inner wrapper label must include point of contact information with address. The outer label must include only the address information. Mail the copies by June 16, 2008 to:

MILCOM Panels Program
Proposals for panels are now being accepted and must be submitted using the Panels Proposal Kit. Required forms for participation in the unclassified and classified panel programs are accessible by using the Forms login.
